A Rich Fish Menu

At Mikado we make sure our menu satisfies the varied tastes of our guests. We serve a wide selection of fresh fish, prepared according to traditional recipes with a modern touch. All fish dishes (400 g, including 220 g of fish) are served with a fresh vegetable salad, and in winter with coleslaw and pickles.

Battered Fried Cod Fillet with Fries
The fish-and-chips classic at its best. A delicate cod fillet in crispy batter, fried golden and served with fries and salad. Perfect for lovers of traditional flavours.

Oven-Baked Cod with Spinach and Mozzarella
A lighter, baked version of cod – under a blanket of spinach and melted mozzarella, with potato wedges. A dish that combines seaside freshness with an Italian character.

Pan-Fried Zander with Mashed Potatoes
A noble fish with delicate white flesh, fried golden and served with creamy mashed potatoes. A simple composition that lets the taste of the fish shine.

Oven-Baked Salmon à la Mikado
An aromatic salmon fillet baked to perfection, served with mashed potatoes and garlic sauce. Our signature dish and one of the most frequently ordered.

Halibut on Tomato and Pepper Salsa
Juicy halibut on a bold salsa of tomatoes and peppers, with potato wedges. A dish full of flavour – ideal for a dinner with a sunset view.

Fish Soup with Salmon and Cod

Fish and Seafood Starters
Salmon tartare with capers and toast, a platter of 12 king prawns with sweet chilli sauce, fried calamari and onion rings, and a bread roll with herring and pickled cucumber. For the youngest – fish & chips in a smaller portion.

What fish can I eat at Mikado?
Cod (battered fillet with fries or oven-baked with spinach and mozzarella), zander with mashed potatoes, oven-baked salmon à la Mikado, halibut on tomato and pepper salsa, fish soup with salmon and cod, and as starters salmon tartare, king prawns, calamari and a herring roll.
How much do the fish dishes cost?
Fish dishes cost 69–74 PLN for a 400 g portion (including 220 g of fish), served with a fresh vegetable salad. Fish soup 36 PLN, kids’ fish & chips 34 PLN.
Does Mikado have a sea view?
Yes. Mikado stands right by the beach, 10–20 m from the shoreline. You can see the Baltic Sea from the dining room through panoramic windows and from two terraces, including the rooftop Beach Bar.
Do I need a reservation?
No. Mikado does not require reservations – everyone is warmly welcome at any time, no booking needed. If you are coming as a larger group, you can call +48 609 000 125 and we will prepare a table for you.
Is Mikado family friendly?
Yes. We have a separate Happy Kids menu (fish & chips, spaghetti bolognese, fries, desserts, balloon lemonade, bubble tea), high chairs and plenty of space on the terraces.
How do I get there and where can I park?
We are on the seaside promenade, about 100 m from the lighthouse and right next to the pier. The nearest car parks are by the port (Morska / Towarowa streets) and on Sikorskiego street, then a 3–5 minute walk along the promenade.
Can I pay by card or in euros?
Yes. We accept payment cards (Visa, Mastercard), cash in Polish złoty and payment in euros.

The spacious lower terrace, as well as the upper terrace with the view, make Mikado an extraordinary place, worth visiting not only for its excellent food but also to enjoy the time spent looking at the horizon. I totally recommend this restaurant.

We have been regular guests in Mikado for years. Delicious fish and salads, tasty pizza, and the kids’ menu make it our family’s favorite dining spot. I especially recommend sunset dinners with drinks and wine on the upper terrace. And the view on a sunny day is absolutely stunning. A visit in Mikado is a must for us, every time we are in Kolobrzeg.
